Fire Equipment Training
All State Fire Equipment is pleased to announce that our fire equipment training program is now available. The class is designed to help employees, operators and mechanics understand your fire suppression systems and how they work. By your employees better understanding the systems, we have found we can reduce exposure and save money on needless repairs.
Course Title: Fire Suppression Equipment on Mobil Fleet
Course Length: 30 – 45 Minutes (Easy to fit inside your safety meetings)
Course Description: Class materials include topics that cover how your fire equipment works and its limitations. We go over when and how to properly disable a system so that it will not damage system components or cause an unwanted discharge. We cover pre-shift inspections that will give your operators and your management team confidence that the system will work as design. Thanks to information gained from our field technicians, equipment operators and mechanics we have developed a class that teaches from the trenches. We feel it is important that an equipment or truck operator understand their role in protecting your capital investment as well as how they can do everything they can to ensure their safety.
Course Goal: To give the operators and mechanics the tools they need to make good decisions regarding the safety of both them and the fleet.
Special Thanks to San Miguel Mine, Walnut Creek Mine, and Dolet Hills Mine and your miners for your assistance in the development of the course.
If you are interested in scheduling a class for your staff or your organization you are welcome to call or email Yvonne Damon to request more information.
