Fire Suppression
Off road vehicles operate in a rugged, tough environment. Risk of fire can be reduced by adding an after market product that is designed to suppress fire that occurs in the engine or transmission areas of the equipment.
This product is a pre-engineered system that can be activated either manually or automatically. After the systems are installed we provide routine inspections and proper maintenance to ensure you get the most out of your investment.
We understand the challenges these systems face in the field. Off road vehicles are subject to preventive maintenance procedures and environmental issues that may put extra stress on hoses and nozzles.
Nozzles
Nozzle caps are very important to the operation of the system. When caps become missing the orifice can become clogged. The AFEX nozzle has a hinged metal cap that holds up very well in the extreme heat of the engine and transmission areas of the vehicle.
Hoses
Worn hoses are a common repair item for system owners. This is an unavoidable issue due to the environment. The AFEX system has a unique designed that significantly reduces the number of hoses used on a system. AFEX uses a flexible hose from the chemical tank to a T fitting. From the T to the nozzle the AFEX design uses steel tubing. When your maintenance team needs to perform routine PM’s they simply unscrew four bolts and remove a block. When finished they reattach the block. Simple and Fast!
